CELTIC, Central Gaul. Arverni. Circa 100-50 BC. Quinarius (Subaeratus, 13 mm, 1.19 g, 9 h), plated silver. Celticized male head to left, wearing necklace. Rev. [VINILLI] or [VINILLOS] Horse with long tail galloping left: below, leaf. Cf. D&T 3389. Flesche -. LT -. Very rare and interesting. An attractive and well centered example. Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, good very fine.
